An absurdist comedy which follows Mia, a 25 year old who can’t have sex due to a gynaecological condition on her ‘sometimes’ surreal journey towards her long awaited first time - a sexual milestone that turns out to be wildly underwhelming.
About the film
We are currently working on our first European co-production film SPECULUM an absurdist comedy by Berlin based writer/director Eva Ariane Heise. Yay.
In the usual PDA style, we have a full crew of female HOD's - this is an important project for us as its exploring some very real gynaecological issues through levity and want to rally up a community behind us as we will be launching our Indiegogo campaign imminently for our 2026 summer shoot.
